Marketing & Advertising Expertise:

Success in this role requires a strong foundation in marketing and advertising principles. The ideal candidate must continually deepen and broaden their understanding of advertising strategies and marketing best practices, as well as expand their knowledge of the advertising tactics managed by Tango.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and Broaden delivered advertising solutions for clients
    • Leverage expertise in applying marketing and advertising for clients' needs
    • Collaborate with other Tango team members in creating and managing the advertising solutions delivered to clients
    • Deepen and broaden understanding of advertising and marketing principles
    • Deepen and broaden knowledge of advertising tactics managed by Tango
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and nurture strong client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, with proactive check-ins every two weeks to discuss goals and challenges
    • Gain a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, industry trends, and pain points to offer tailored strategic advice.
    • Communicate regularly with clients to foster trust and ensure satisfaction, with a minimum of two interactions per month.
  • Project Oversight
    • Oversee all aspects of the campaign process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with client expectations and agency standards.
    • Act as the client advocate ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and remain within scope.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets; monitor progress regularly to ensure campaigns stay on track and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams
    • Work closely with creative, media, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns objectives are clear and align with the client's goals.
    • Ensure media plans are updated and accurate in alignment with the client's needs and campaign progress.
    • Foster clear communication between clients and internal teams, providing essential feedback from clients to the creative team
    • Act as a conduit for creative feedback to ensure the client's vision is maintained while ensuring projects remain on schedule.
  • Strategic Planning and Reporting
    • Lead strategic meetings with clients, strategists, and lead salesperson to align objectives, priorities, and campaign details.
    • Create and present compelling proposals, strategies, and updates, ensuring they are aligned with client needs and expectations
    • Regularly track and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Provide clients with monthly reports that detail campaign performance, outcomes, and next steps, ensuring transparency and continued alignment.
  • Problem Resolution
    • Address client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
    • Identify potential obstacles in campaigns early on and work collaboratively to resolve issues quickly.
  • Account Growth
    • Regularly assess client needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross selling additional agency services.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create and present proposals for expanded engagements that provide additional value to the client
  • Pipeline Management
    • Maintain an up-to-date record of each assigned account's projected revenue and overall account health.
    • Manage and track a sales pipeline, ensuring key milestones are met, and budgets are consistently met or exceeded

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years in account management, preferably within an advertising, media, or marketing agency, with a proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Advertising Expertise: Strong understanding of digital and traditional advertising strategies, including media planning, execution, and analytics.
  • Tools and Systems: Proficient with CRM and project management tools to manage client interactions, monitor campaign progress, and track performance metrics.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex strategies, results, and recommendations to clients in a way that's easy to understand.
  • Excel Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel for accurate data entry, formatting, and the use of basic formulas.
